This policy explains how Silent Buddy Co Ltd ("SilentBuddy", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit silentbuddy.co.uk, join our waitlist, request investor information or contact us.
Who we are
Silent Buddy Co Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16383600), with its registered office at 26 The Hillway, Fareham, England, PO16 8BL. We are the data controller. Contact: info@silentbuddy.co.uk.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your first name and email address. If you choose to answer them: whether you own a dog, your main morning challenge, your dog's usual wake time, and whether you're interested in product testing.
- Investor and partnership enquiries: your name, email address, organisation, role, the type of organisation, and your message.
- Contact enquiries: your name, email address and message.
- How you found us: with each form we record the page you arrived on, the referring website and any campaign tags in the link you followed. This is stored for your browser session only and is sent to us only if you submit a form.
How we use it
- To send SilentBuddy updates you asked for: development news, testing opportunities and launch information (legal basis: consent).
- To understand demand, using waitlist answers in anonymised, combined form, for example "the share of sign-ups whose dogs wake before 6am". We may share such combined figures with investors and partners. They never identify you (legal basis: legitimate interests).
- To reply to enquiries and send requested investor information (legal basis: legitimate interests).
We never sell personal information.
Who we share it with
- FormSubmit, which delivers website form submissions to our inbox and sends you a confirmation email.
- IONOS, our email provider.
- MailerLite, which we use to send email updates to the waitlist.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website.
Some providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards required by UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
Waitlist details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Enquiries: only as long as needed to deal with them and any follow-up.
